Welcome to City Readers—we are a group of New Yorkers who love to read and to share our love of reading with others! We are committed to raising books (and money to buy books) for our partner public, private and charter schools in New York City.

Our current partner schools are the George Jackson Academy in Lower Manhattan, the Alain L. Locke Elementary School (PS 208) in Harlem, and PS 109 in The Bronx. You can learn more about all 3 schools here. Then feel free to donate and make your tax-deductible contribution to City Readers to help make the reading dreams of the students of both schools come true!

City Readers is incorporated as a non-profit organization in the state of New York and fully recognized as a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
