City Readers is proud to announce that we are partnering with Blackstone to help raise books for PS 109 in The Bronx.  For more information please see our donation page, or go directly to PS 109′s book list.

Welcome to City Readers—we are a group of New Yorkers who love to read and to share our love of reading with others! We are committed to raising books (and money to buy books) for our partner public, private and charter schools in New York City.

Our current partner schools are the George Jackson Academy in Lower Manhattan and the Alain L. Locke Elementary School (PS 208) in Harlem, NY. You can learn more about both schools here. Then feel free to donate and make your tax-deductible contribution to City Readers to help make the reading dreams of the students of both schools come true!
