Welcome to City Readers

Join us for our Summer 2017 Fundraiser on Saturday, July 15th, 2017. Click HERE to buy your tickets now!

Welcome to City Readers—we are a group of New Yorkers who love to read and to share our love of reading with others! We are committed to raising books (and money to buy books) for our partner public, private and charter schools in New York City.

Over the last 6 years, we have provided thousands of books to hundreds of students throughout New York City.

Our previous partner schools have included the Frank McCourt High School in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, the Growing Up Green Charter School in Queens, the Harlem Storefront Academy, the Churchill School, the George Jackson Academy in Lower Manhattan, the Alain L. Locke Elementary School (PS 208) in Harlem, and PS 109 in The Bronx. You can learn more about all 6 schools here. Then, please consider donating and making a tax-deductible contribution to City Readers to help make the reading dreams of the students of New York City schools come true!

City Readers is incorporated as a non-profit organization in the state of New York and fully recognized as a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
