Welcome to City Readers—we are a group of New Yorkers who love to read and to share our love of reading with others! We are committed to raising books (and money to buy books) for our partner public, private and charter schools in New York City.

Our current partner school is the Alain L. Locke Elementary School (PS 208) in Harlem, NY. You can learn more about them here. Then feel free to donate and make your tax-deductible contribution to City Readers to help make the reading dreams of the students of the Alain L. Locke Elementary School come true!

City Readers is incorporated as a nonprofit organization in the state of New York and has been established as public charity subject to federal tax exemptions under section 501(c)(3) of the United States internal revenue code. 100% of net proceeds donated to City Readers will go towards the purchase of student books or teacher’s guides and all donated funds are tax-deductible.
